14-19 Portal
This portal is for anyone in the region who is interested in education and skills for young people aged 14-19. Through this portal everyone involved in 14-19 will be able to:
- Know who is involved and how
- Access the best contemporary information available on 14-19 issues in the region and nationally
- Engage effectively in dialogue on 14-19 issues
Over the coming weeks and months the portal will be further developed, as part of a wider transformation of the website for the regional skills and employment partnership, so that it becomes the first place to go to locate and post information on 14-19 in the North East. The portal currently provides:
- Information about the 14-19 Commission, its mission and role, key themes, and the opportunity to subscribe to the newsletter
- Information on the 14-19 Local Partnerships
- Progress towards the North East regional 14-19 targets
- Getting hold of the right information – labour market intelligence and sector fact sheets
