Gillian Collinson

Skills and Higher Education Strategy Manager, One NorthEast, representing One NorthEast

Gillian Collinson was born in Glasgow, and graduated from Strathclyde University with a B.Sc. in Applied Physics.  On completion of a graduate apprenticeship programme in the NorthEast of England, she has subsequently held a number of technical management roles, within both the public and private sector.   As a chartered engineer, she has gained both a M.Sc. and M.B.A from Durham University. 

Gillian Collinson is the Skills and Higher Education Strategy Manager at ONE NorthEast, the Regional Development Agency for the North East of England.  Gillian leads and manages the strategy, policy and investment of the ONE NorthEast Skills and Higher Education programme.
