Shona Paul

As Director of Educational Partnerships, Shona has responsibility for the participation, progression and social inclusion agenda at Universities for the North East. She was previously  Director of Aimhigher in the North East, having managed the 2 previous regional projects under Partnerships for Progression, and the HEFCE funded widening participation project 2000 – 2002. Prior to this she held a number of posts committed to partnership working and participation in higher education as development officer for the Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP) and   the Workers’ Education Association (WEA). She has also been a lecturer in Adult and Continuing Education at the University of Dundee, and a senior lecturer at the University of Sunderland. She is a member of LLUK HE Constituency Panel.
