Widening participation in Higher Education

The Universities for the North East website unis4ne outlines the initiatives that are underway to widen participation in higher education.

Aimhigher is a programme which aims to widen participation in higher education by raising the aspirations and developing the abilities of young people from under-represented groups.  The programme operates across the North East through three Sub Regional Partnerships - Northumberland/Tyne & Wear, Tees Valley and Durham.
