North East Regional ESF Strategy 2007-13
Skills North East coordinated the development of the North East Regional ESF Framework for 2007-13, which sets out how £155m of ESF funding will be invested to meet distinctive regional and local priorities.
The main focus of ESF investment will be on reducing worklessness and improving skills for employability. The Framework has aligned ESF investment with the needs identified in the Regional Economic Strategy and the Regional Employability Framework.
All ESF funding in the region will be channelled through Co-Financing Organisations, who will procure and manage ESF contracts with providers.
