Guide to Labour Market Information
The Guide to Finding Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) Data Sources was developed by Skills North East in order to help policymakers, IAG practitioners and curriculum planners to quickly locate relevant data and reports.
Although many sites have links to sources of LMI, there is rarely any guidance about which statistics can be found there and who the main audience is This Guide has been developed to assist IAG information users with information about the sources.
We hope that it will support policymakers in making better use of the existing evidence base when developing programmes and projects. We would also expect the Guide to be useful in helping advisors find high quality information for individuals and employers that are seeking to invest in skills development.
We may in the future seek to extend this Guide to consider the needs of other user groups.
Please send your thoughts about how it can be improved and letting us know of other links to useful sites to: joe.clease@onenortheast.co.uk
